Liam O’Grady locates the finest olive of the dayIt’s been a tough year for all those involved in the two weeks of harvesting at the BRIST olive groves. Inclement weather and heavy ground posed a challenge for all across Istria to get the olives in on time. Thankfully with a great team, we have succeeded and although it has been the heaviest work since many a year, the olives are again bursting with energy and as I write the final batches are going through the mill under the watchful eyes of Silvano Puhar.
Thank you to one and all involved – our family, friends and the professional team which make this backbreaking achievement possible in such a quick time to get the olives to milling while still bursting with energy.
